Our Halloween was pretty short. In fact, it was super short.
We got Lily all dressed up, and she was already starting to act like a little miss cranky pants. That should have been a big tip off. She was cute though, even though she never let me put the hood part on.
As soon as we got out of the driveway she wanted to be held. She would freak out and start throwing herself if we put her down. She didn't even want to sit on daddy's shoulders. In order to have a nice time we obliged.
Buuuut........ carrying her feels like carrying an ass ton of bricks. As we all know an ass ton weighs far more than a regular ton.
Needless to say between the two of us we only made it halfway down the street trying to carry little miss crabby patty.
We went home, took off her costume, and she passed out with in 5 minutes. As much as she loves Halloween decorations and seeing all of the costumes, she was not ready to be out and about an hour before her bedtime. Oh well, it's not like she needs that much candy anyhow. Although, I would have loved to share with her ;)
After Lily went to bed we put a box of candy with a sign out to take some. We didn't want the doorbell going off every 5 minutes to wake up the kiddo. Todd and I sat down and watched about a million episodes of Malcom in the Middle, and then we turned in for the night. Wow, we are some party animals. Be jealous :P
