In the home stretch

Here I am, 30 weeks pregnant! Man how time flies!

I'm happy to be this pregnant, even if it sucks to be this uncomfortable.

Things are still going as well as they can be. I have too much amniotic fluid, so breaking my water early is a worry. Not to mention all of these contractions are crazy. I'm on meds to stop them, and that works most of the time.

Baby unknown is still doing well. She is right on track with growth, and is rockin' and rollin' in there. She moves like crazy since I have all that extra fluid.

Here she is covering her little face

I have 9 weeks left to go since I'll be getting a repeat c-section done at 39 weeks. I am super excited to be down to single digits left!

Thought for the day

I really wish I had the power to explode people with my mind.

Some people just need to be exploded :P

A shitty coffee table (literally)

Working at home while taking care of a 2 year old can really take it's toll on you. I just about lost it today.

Lily was playing with some play doh next to me while I worked, and then she decided to take off. No biggie, she's pretty independent.

A couple of minutes go by and she is reeeeeally quiet, so of course as a parent, you know they are getting into trouble. I look back and call her name. All I see is a little naked butt zoom passed the doorway. This can't be good......

I walk into the living room only to find a shitty coffee table. That's right, a shitty coffee table! She took off her diaper and smeared shit all over that bad boy. Of course there was some on the carpet as well.
This is how I felt

I had a little mini break down and chased her to her room to get her cleaned up and get her back into a diaper.

I went to work cleaning the table and the carpet. Mind you I had just cleaned the carpets this weekend.

It's time like these I really really miss wine. As soon as I pop this kiddo out, I am having a nice, giant, glass (or bottle) of wine

My baby is 2 now

I know, I know it's been a while. I've just been super busy with work.

Let's see, let's start with Lily's birthday party. It was awesooooome! We all had a blast! Lily didn't care much for the presents, but she loved the jumping castle and the giant slide

It was lots of fun, and I didn't have to do anything. I handed over the few decorations that I had, the food, and the cupcakes, and then went and mingled while the kids played. I would have loved to have been able to play too, but my giant pregnant ass wouldn't have been able to handle it.

Here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure....
More Jumping

Down the slide with Daddy

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

She just ate the frosting

And of course a party wouldn't be complete with out a tantrum

Shootin' some hoops

Simple decorations

The wings were a big hit with the kids

The only pic i remembered to take of the cupcakes :(

Lots of fun.

Next on the list. My pregnancy......
Ever since yesterday I have been in massive amounts of pain. Between the contractions (which are getting worse) the pressure, and the regular pregnancy aches and pains I want to crawl into a hole and stay there until I give birth. I don't want to interact with anyone at all! I have an appointment today, so we shall see what is going on in there though.

Hmmm I think that's about it for now. Not too much is going on around here. Right now that is a good thing. I would probably have bitten someone's head off by now if there were.

Our Halloween

Our Halloween was pretty short. In fact, it was super short.

We got Lily all dressed up, and she was already starting to act like a little miss cranky pants. That should have been a big tip off. She was cute though, even though she never let me put the hood part on.

As soon as we got out of the driveway she wanted to be held. She would freak out and start throwing herself if we put her down. She didn't even want to sit on daddy's shoulders. In order to have a nice time we obliged.

Buuuut........ carrying her feels like carrying an ass ton of bricks. As we all know an ass ton weighs far more than a regular ton.
Needless to say between the two of us we only made it halfway down the street trying to carry little miss crabby patty.

We went home, took off her costume, and she passed out with in 5 minutes. As much as she loves Halloween decorations and seeing all of the costumes, she was not ready to be out and about an hour before her bedtime. Oh well, it's not like she needs that much candy anyhow. Although, I would have loved to share with her ;)

After Lily went to bed we put a box of candy with a sign out to take some. We didn't want the doorbell going off every 5 minutes to wake up the kiddo. Todd and I sat down and watched about a million episodes of Malcom in the Middle, and then we turned in for the night. Wow, we are some party animals. Be jealous :P
